Spring Cleaning Party – The Entryway

It is Day 10 of the Spring Cleaning Party at Simple Mom, and what a party it has been. Thank you so much to my readers for making this a fabulous experience. And a thank you to Tsh at Simple Mom and Mandi at Organizing Your Way for hosting.

Spring Cleaning the Master Bedroom

Before kids, my clothing was neatly pressed, folded perfectly, arranged by garment type, color, pattern, and fabric. After kids, I just throw stuff in a heap on the floor in the corner. Come see my spring cleaning master bedroom before and after pictures and see the difference a few hours made on my space!

Spring Cleaning Kids’ Bedrooms

Organizing kids clothing is a CHORE, and one I tackle seasonally. I pack away items that are out of season, take out those items I got at the end-of-the-season clearance sales the year before, and figure out what to recycle, gift, donate, and just plain throw away. Friday Favorite Spring Cleaning Tips

I am loving the Spring Cleaning Party by Tsh at Simple Mom. I have “met” so many bloggers out there who are busily spring cleaning their homes and I’ve read some really great decluttering, cleaning, and organizing tips and tricks. Come on over to Organizing-Life.com to read some great organizing tips from readers!!

Spring Cleaning Party Day 5

I can’t believe I made it to the end of week 1 of Simple Mom’s Spring Cleaning Party. It hasn’t been easy. I don’t like cleaning. I’d much rather alphabetize my books by author’s last name and reshelve them with the spines aligned. BUT I have to admit the spaces we have cleaned and organized so far, the living room and the kitchen, look great and feel fresh like spring.

Cleaning the Kitchen!

Today is Spring Cleaning Party Kitchen Cleaning Day 1. I asked my readers: Did you feel wasteful today cleaning out your pantries? Do you have any frugal tips for others about how you consume wisely? Visit Organizing-Life.com to leave a comment and tip for others seeking to live responsibly!

Spring Cleaning – Day 1 A Clean Sweep

And my thoughts on purging: the fewer items we own the better. Spring Cleaning is a great opportunity to examine what we have, what we need, and to give our excess to those who need it more.

Spring Cleaning Party at Simple Mom

I am so intimidated to participate in the Spring Cleaning Party hosted over at Simple Mom. With a whole home to clean for the first time in my life and two little mess-up monsters nipping at my heels, I am unsure how much I am going to be able to accomplish. Follow me at Organizing-Life.com over the next two weeks and see how I battle toddler-mess (and husband-mess for that matter). And don’t forget to head over to Simple Mom.net to join in the party! Happy Cleaning!
