I walked by the window this afternoon and there was a squat crimson cardinal sitting on the sill, churping at the wind blowing March away. Our one daffodil has bloomed graciously next to our front stoop, and I see the rain is taking a break. Spring is here. So is spring break from school and a blogging break.

Tomorrow we are driving for 12 intrepid hours in a small SUV with two toddlers. The weather forecast INSIDE that SUV is yet to be determined. The amount of luck we will be bringing with us, is also to be determined. We hope it is a lot, and the trip to New Hampshire will be manageable.

We will be staying a week with my parents exploring the great outdoors and trying not to break anything. And I will be taking a break from writing here in this space. I will miss it, and your supportive, funny, and inspiring comments. April 5th, I’ll be back to talk about more informed packaging purchases, crafty updates, and culinary exploration.
