So when I started my closet organizing project, it took me an hour an a halfto find all the sewing notions I needed to make the bags that will keep my comforters dust-free and organized. So, I decided to re-purpose a fishing tackle box to organize all my sewing supplies in one place. The smaller compartments hold the thread, pins, and notions perfectly. I am a beginner seamstress, so I don’t have a lot to organize.
I started with this mess:
I re-purposed small containers to hold small items.

I used Ziploc bags to hold my measuring tape and cord I purchased for Tyler’s bedroom valence sewing project.

And this is what the box looked like after.

The best part is this box is portable, so I can store it in the basement, and easily access everything in one place when I start a new sewing project. And, I emptied two small plastic containers I can use for another organizing project!
