Premie Parenting

My daughter was born at 35 weeks–a very big (5lb 5oz) and very old premie baby. She was re-admitted to NICU after being discharged for a very short while and we have been dealing with a host of mild-premie-related developmental issues. I am realizing that although view her as a “normal” toddler and we certainly didn’t face many of the issues parents of micro-premies face, that even being border-line premie is certainly significant and very different from being full-term.
