This way I can stack the square & round containers without lids flying all around. I just slide out the "rounds" & find my lid. Also, 1 bin for spices & 1 for baking sweets (cocoa, chips, etc). I have a tiny Big-City kitchen, so our pantry is a front-hall closet. These bins make it easy to bring all the spices I need into the kitchen to work, then put away easily. I use old baskets in my pantry to hold baking supplies and seasoning envelopes or drink mixes. My make-up drawer is organized with shallow plastic bins I picked up at the dollar store 3/$1.
