I wanted to introduce myself a little more and reveal the person behind the blog. So today I am writing about 11 things unrelated to organizing your life but related to me!

1. I am a Korean adoptee. I was born in Seoul, Korea, came to America when I was 3 months old, and grew up in rural New Hampshire.

2. I am a Colby College alumna, class of ‘98. (Colby is in Waterville, Maine.)

3. I met my wonderful husband in business school (at George Washington University in Washington, DC) in 2004. We were engaged exactly 5 months later and married 13 months after that in 2005. We welcomed our first child Tyler 9 months later in 2006 and I finished my MBA 5 months later. We bought our first home 9 months later in 2007 and we welcomed our second child Sydney 4 months after that in 2008. Whew!

4. My favorite color is Crayola green and my favorite number is 11.

5. I love cake decorating. I have delved in as far as colored sugar flowers and separated tiered cakes. My passion started when I took on the project of baking and constructing my own 5-tiered wedding cake (it served 350).

6. I actually don’t like eating cake that much and my favorite desert is fresh berries with sugar and cream. My least favorite food is zucchini.

7. I hate aerobic exercise, but I like weight lifting.

8. I love working with tools like saws, routers, pneumatic nailers, and the good old hammer and crowbar to build something great. I don’t know a thing about cars. I don’t even know where the windshield fluid goes.

9. This sort of goes along with #8, but I hate driving. It makes me tense all over.

10. My favorite date night would be beers and hot dogs and peanuts at the ball park on a hot summer night. (And no, I don’t know anything about the game, I go to see the mascots do silly stuff and be outside.)

11. My vice is coffee. I drink lots.
